Background on our SR-71 Titanium Relics

Arizona Skies Meteorites® introduces another historic ring! Custom-made rings crafted from mission flown SR-71 Blackbird Titanium inlaid with your choice of two wood bands from the decks of historically important naval ships (Style #1017). While the supply lasts, choose wood inlays from the following famous US warships:

WWII Battleships: USS Missouri (the mighty Mo), USS Iowa, USS New Jersey, USS Alabama, USS Indiana, USS Wisconsin, and USS North Carolina.

WWII Aircraft Carriers: USS Lexington

Submarines: USS Nautilus (1st Nuclear Sub), USS Silversides (highly decorated WW2 Gato Class Submarine), USS Cobia (decorated WW2 Gato Class Submarine) and USS Cavalla (decorated WW2 Gato Class Submarine that sank the Shokaku).

Heavy Frigates, Ships of the Line: Oak from the hull of the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides). Oak from the HMS Victory (Lord Horatio Nelson's flagship and ship of the line at the battle of Trafalgar).

We are making some of our rare artifacts available as limited edition, custom-made rings. All designed are copyrighted. These materials are difficult to work, and there are no seams, joints or welds in the SR-71 titanium of our rings. Each ring is painstakingly crafted from a solid piece of mission flown SR-71 titanium with wood (usually teak) from the deck of famous US Warships inlaid into the SR-71 titanium. Being hand crafted, there will be minor variations in each ring characteristic of hand made items. Our SR-71 rings are simple yet elegant and we are the only source for these rings.

This particular ring is crafted from a structural piece from SR-71A "Super Skater" (61-7970) and is inlayed with wood from the decks of two famous US warships! The This SR-71 was lost on 17 June 1970 following a post-re-fueling collision with the KC-135Q (59-1474) tanker. Lt. Col. Buddy L. Brown and his RSO Maj. Mortimer J. Jarvis both ejected and survived the crash. The KC-135 made it back to Beale AFB, California with a damaged refueling boom and aft fuselage. The SR-71 (61-7970) "Super Skater" crashed in the western Texas desert on non-Federally owned land.

All our rings come with a Certificate of Authenticity and make great gifts for pilots, the military, and history, naval, aviation or space enthusiasts.

The supply of SR-71 titanium thick enough to use in this ring, as well as that of historic US warship decking is very limited. The current price for this, unique ring (up to size 12 x 10mm width) is $2595.00.

Our SR-71 Naval Rings are unique, tangible, wearable, historically important artifacts from three of the greatest aviation and naval creations of all time!
