This beautiful, highly detailed original pencil illustration on artist board was done by Phil Berry for Liberty Magazine. We believe that the figures in illustration are Jack Haley (Tin Man inWizard of Oz) and Alice Faye as their names are written on left lower corner. Interestingly this was the same year Jack Haley appeared in "The Wizard of Oz". It appears that this may have been for a story entitled "Newspaperman Part IV".
This original 1939 dated illustration art would make a fantastic gift or addition to any collection!
