Beautiful Juvenile Wooly Mammoth Tusk For Sale! This lovely, pre-historic specimen is from a Siberian Wooly Mammoth, the last individuals of which became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene approximately 10,000 years ago. This tusk has had a few minor cracks stabilized, but No Repair or Restoration! It has been lightly sanded and then buffed to bring out its natural beauty. It has several areas displaying a beautiful green hue (probably vivianite staining). It measures 33 1/2 inches length along the outer curvature and is in superb condition. The tip of the tusk has been worn by the Mammoth during its lifetime, and it has a nice deep intact root cavity. This beautiful specimen would make a fantastic addition to any collection! Please Note Display stand is not included w/ tusk.
