Gao meteorites are a stony meteorite which have been classified as an Olivine-Bronzite Chondrite (H5). The Gao meteorite fell in Burkina Faso (formerly Upper Volta) on March 5, 1960. The Gao and Guenie meteorite falls were once considered to be two separate events, but have now been classified as a single fall-the Gao/Guenie fall. The specimens have been cleaned and are beautiful specimens with a ton of fusion crust! These Gaos are an excellent value for a witnessed fall and our prices are probably better than you will find anywhere else, so get them while they last!
