This beautiful, pre-historic specimen is from a Siberian wooly rhino, the last individuals of which became extinct towards the end of the Pleistocene approximately 20,000 years ago. Wooly rhino fossils are exceptionally rare, and wooly rhino skeletons are almost unheard of. This represents a fantastic opportunity for a museum or educational institution to acquire a truly rare Pleistocene relic for public display.
This wooly rhino skeleton took years to extract from the permafrost of eastern Siberia. It stands 5 feet high, and is 4 feet wide, and 10 feet in length. The length of the large horn is 2 feet, 7 inches, and the length of the smaller horn is 1 foot, 2 inches. The Skeleton is ~95% complete, with a few missing rib fragments being restored with paleo sculp. The current location of this specimen is here in Arizona, and it is ready to be shipped anywhere in the world.
