Frank Luke Spad Painting

Frank Luke
Frank Luke was America’s second highest scoring ace during World War I. Born in Phoenix to German immigrant parents, he enlisted into the U.S. Air Service when war broke out and with his tally of 18 victories became known as the “Arizona Balloon Buster”, as most of his victories came against German observation balloons. This painting is a 22”x28”, oil on canvas panel.
