This is a Superb, jet black Nanotyrannus tooth from the late Cretaceous. It was found in the famous Hell Creek formation in eastern Montana on private land with the owner's permission. It measures 1.5 inches in length (straight-line measurement), and has absolutely No Restoration! Fossils from the Hell Creek formation are amongst the most sought after types of all dinosaur fossils, and this has got to be one of the highest quality specimens available anywhere!
