This is an incomparable, crusted full slice from the Seymchan pallasite. It measures at its widest points an incredible 20.5" x 18" x ~7/8"! It has an stunning, brilliant etch pattern which the photos don't begin to do justice to. When you move it the light areas become dark and the dark areas light-just like a hologram! This specimen is full of beautiful Schreibersite inclusions and olivine crystals! Seymchan is one of the most stable and beautiful meteorites. It is extremely difficult to cut, even with the finest equipment. At a recent Bonhams auction a 72kg part slice of Seymchan sold for over $94,000.00! This spectacular specimen is a crusted full slice with olivine and is very reasonably priced! Search the entire internet and you won't find anything remotely comparable!
