Gorgeous, 150 gram Seymchan Pallasite! This is a superb, crusted part slice from the Seymchan pallasite. It has brilliant etch patterns, and the photos don't begin to do it justice. When you move it the light areas become dark and the dark areas light-just like a hologram! Not all Seymchan etch the same. Some have a rather dull etch pattern, and a few have a truly fantastic etch pattern. This is one of the latter group. Seymchan is one of the most stable iron meteorites. Seymchan is extremely difficult to cut, even with the finest equipment. This specimen would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
