Here is a unique opportunity to own a rare piece of American History. This is an antique U.S. Civil War Cavalry Saber. It was manufactured by the Christopher Roby armory, West Chelmsford, Massachussetts in 1864. The maker is crispy stamped on the ricasso along with the manufacture date and inspector's initial A.G.M. The blade is in excellent condition and has not been sharpened or messed with in any way. The grip has the original leather with original wire wrap. The scabbard is in fantastic shape with no dents, dings or holes in it.
