Exceptional, Museum Quality 8.85 kilogram, Saharan Iron Meteorite! This is an exceptionally rare, oriented Saharan Iron, complete with a Natrual Hole! The entry side is smootly ablated into a pseudo-nose-cone shape while the trailing side is beautifully remaglypted! This meteorite is covered with fusion crust having a gorgeous, rich copper-brown patina! A small sample has been removed from one corner and preliminary analysis suggests that this could be a medium Octahedrite. This beautiful iron would make an exceptional addition to any Museum or Private Collection!
