Superb quality Mammoth Tusk For Sale! We are very please to be able to offer this stunning Wooly mammoth tusk to our customers. This specimen is from a Siberian wooly mammoth, the last individuals of which became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene approximately 10,000 years ago. This tusk has a rare blue-green coloration which is a result of being mineralized by vivianite during the fossilization process resulting in a gorgeous blue-green coloration which perfectly complements the natural earthen hues of the mammoth ivory. Blue hued mammoth tusks command the highest premiums of all color combinations and are the most sought after by Collectors. This specimen measures 45 inches in length along the outer curvature and has virtually no restoration. It has had some color matching near the tip and is in better condition than many of the tusks seen in the world's Museums. This specimen would make a superb addition to any fine collection!
