Only two Glorieta Mountain meteorites have been found that are large enough
to slice and are 100% pallasite. This slice is from one of these two
pallasites. If you search the entire internet for Glorieta Pallasite
slices you will find that they range in price from $40 to $60 per gram. We are offering this spectacular, museum quality, slice at a substantial discount from the retail price. It has huge, gem quality olivine crystals with a beautiful, warm orange-yellow color. Glorieta pallasites are one of the very few pallasites that are stable, and in this respect they are similar to the high quality Esquel pallasite except that their total know weight is far lower and they have olivine crystals that are more orange-yellow in color than the Esquel's beautiful yellow olivine crystals.
